The long, long waiting game...
Many, many hours later and about 45 minutes after the vet check...
Day 1 & 2: color coding: orange w/ white & green w/ white are girls -- the rest are boys

Day 3 -- Mike & Martha are evicted from the maternity ward, and Ella slammed the door shut! :-) Ella threatened
to move the pups in her newly dug puppy condo under the front porch. She's fed up with our micro-managing
that, unfortunately, we've had to do 24/7 the last 3 days to keep the smallest pups alive. Two are still very small,
but are vigorous. The others are growing like weeds.

Day 4 -- Pups grew like crazy during the night -- look how they fill up the box compared to two days before! You
can see the puppy weight chart and how they didn't gain much weight for 2 or so days, causing concern for us,
but look at them go now. We lost track of who was who -- they all have similar markings. So, we still have to
match up some of the birth weights with the collars that we now have on them for ID purposes. First time that
we've had to use them.

Day 7 -- Pups are 1 week old! They had their dewclaws removed 2 days ago, on Monday. They are healing up nicely, but are still a
little sore. We named the pups -- Sub-Atomic Particles Theme (Mike's been reading up on String theory -- shudder, shudder). If you
look at the end of the URL, you will see the pups' name. Will try to correlate with collars soon. Quark = white collar DS male -- the lil
guy of the litter, but the scrappiest!!! Positron = green collar DS boy. Beauty & Charm = girls.
