| April 15, 2010 (Chaos & Dinah) CH Paradigm Total Chaos Reigns JC x CH Paradigm's Fire And Brimstone Breeders: Mike & Martha Munchhof |
Dinah proudly standing guard over her baby. We haven't held the baby much,
because it stresses Dinah out and she won't settle down. Today, the 17th, the
baby's dewclaws were removed. Not pleasant!

04/14/10: Houston, we've got a panting dog FINALLY (8:00 p.m.). This is Stage 1
labor with Stage 2 still to go (i.e. hard labor).
04/15/10 Dinah never went in to full-stage labor, because it turns out, there was
only 1 puppy. There were no other signs of any fetuses -- mummified or otherwise.
She had an emergency c-section, resulting in a robust, healthy show-ridged girl.

Experimenting with trying to re-creat the "puppy-pile" so that when Dinah wants a break from the constant IV-nursing, "Maggie" yes, her name is "Maggie" -- still feels cuddled and

April 20-21 -- Day 6-7 -- 2.22 lbs!!
Left, Mike holding Maggie. Dinah finally feels comfortable. Next, Maggie lets out an adorable yawn, that was simply irresistable! :-) Above,
Maggie's buddah-belly -- we're afraid she's going to explode!! Today, the 21st, she is one week old and is 2.22 lbs! That is a gain of 0.94
lbs from her birth weight of 1.28 lbs!! From the other pictures, you can see what she is best at -- nursing!
