Ella is the second cornerstone of our breeding program,
cementing the foundation of Paradigm Ridgebacks, along
with her mother, Roxie. From a litter of four champions,
our 2001 litter, Ella finished her AKC Conformation
Championship with three 4 point majors, going Best of
Opposite Sex, Best of Winners and Winners Bitch for those
3 majors. She is pictured to the right at just over 15
months, winning Best Puppy in Specialty at the 2002
RRCUS Nat'l Specialty. Ella is also the RRCUS Nat'l.
Specialty # 3 Brood Bitch.

About Ella
She was the first puppy born from our first litter. We
were looking to keep a show quality female. As soon
as I dried her off and inspected her, I said, "She's the
One!" Beginner's luck!
Ella is a huntress, just like her mother was. She has
incredible tenacity and will stay focused for hours in
her attempt to either catch one of the rascally
squirrels who invade my bird feeders or a chattering
chipmunk in our woodpile or rock wall. She loves to
hike and spends a lot of her time, nowadays,
keeping her daughters, Dinah and Eva in line.
